Muth Re-Elected Senate Democratic Policy Chair

HARRISBURG PA – State Sen. Katie Muth – whose 44th District includes all or parts of Upper Providence, Royersford, Spring City; North, East, and South Coventry, Union and Birdsboro – has been re-elected by the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Caucus as chair of its Senate Democratic Policy Committee for the upcoming 2023-24 legislative session.

The committee during the 2021-22 legislative session hosted 47 policy hearings across the Commonwealth. They focused on legislation, policy initiatives, and a variety of causes. It also collaborated with the House Democratic Policy Committee to host a series of hearings focused on reproductive rights in Pennsylvania.

“I am grateful for the support of my colleagues and stakeholders, and really look forward to the upcoming session and another opportunity to work on a robust policy agenda,” Muth said. Her local office is in Royersford.
