Boyertown Chillin’ on Main Event Returns Saturday

BOYERTOWN PA – The borough’s annual holiday event, “Chillin’ on Main,” will again be hosted by Building a Better Boyertown on Saturday (Dec. 3, 2022) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. downtown on Philadelphia Avenue. It marks another start for the gift-shopping season, is open to the public, and free to attend. Parking is plentiful and available nearby.

’Visitors of all ages can enjoy an enchanting stroll down Philadelphia Avenue and stop by some of the festively decorated shops to find that perfect gift,” the promotional organization reminded potential customers. In addition to craft and gift vendors, local businesses and non-profits will offer games, crafts, and activities for children and their families. Some of them may require a fee.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are scheduled to arrive on the avenue at 11 a.m. and are willing to pose for photographs with adoring fans. A live petting zoo featuring more than 10 animals will be set up downtown too. So will “Blitzen’s Holiday Bar,” available to guests age 21 and older, for enjoyment of beverages available for purchase within the festive atmosphere. Several food vendors also will be in attendance.

Building a Better Boyertown is a non-profit organization says it that seeks to preserve Boyertown’s artistic, historical, and agricultural heritage. It also intends to provide the Boyertown community with physical improvements, unique opportunities, and social interactions for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
