Pottstown Woman Arrested for Trespass in Perkiomen
PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP PA – A 49-year-old Pottstown woman was arrested Friday (Dec. 2, 2022) at 2:06 p.m. by Pennsylvania State Police for alleged simple trespass, after troopers determined she violated a protection-from-abuse order obtained against her by a former boyfriend, a Merion Lane resident. The male victim, who was not identified by name or age, had called 9-1-1 dispatchers for assistance.
When troopers from the Troop K Barracks in Skippack arrived, they reportedly found the woman at his front door “attempting to gain entry.” She was arrested for violating the order. Troopers later learned she also was wanted on warrants obtained in Upper Providence Township and by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for alleged felony retail theft and failure to appear in court, respectively.
Additionally, troopers charged the woman with driving while her operating privileges were suspended or revoked.
She was transported to the county jail “to await arraignment” for violation of the order, troopers stated.
