County DA, Police Investigate Collegeville Accident

NORRISTOWN PA – A Tuesday (Dec. 13, 2022) crash in which 21-year-old Collegeville man was critically injured is being investigated by the Collegeville Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, county District Attorney Kevin Steele said.

The accident involving a white Nissan Rogue car, and pedestrian and borough resident Max Moliken, occurred at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Second and Park avenues. Steele on Wednesday (Dec. 14) said “police arrived to find the victim lying in the roadway suffering from multiple, serious injuries.”

Moliken was flown to Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he is in critical condition.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue, who was not identified by Steele and who was not injured, “remained on scene and has been cooperative with police,” the district attorney noted.

The investigation is expected to take several weeks, the announcement stated. It is being conducted by the borough with assistance from the county Detective Bureau and members of a regional crash reconstruction team.
