NorCo Police Seek Pottstown Woman in Alleged Assault
NORTH COVENTRY PA – A warrant was obtained Tuesday (Dec. 13, 2022) by North Coventry police for the arrest of a 29-year-old Pottstown woman (at top) on aggravated assault and other charges related to the alleged stabbing of a male victim, Chester County records show. The incident was publicly announced by the police department on its CrimeWatch website.
Blessed Urquhart is being sought as a suspect in an early morning Dec. 9 (Friday) stabbing of the man, not identified by police, who they said arrived at Pottstown Hospital “with two stab wounds to the chest.” It was determined during the course of their investigation that “Urquhart stabbed the victim during a domestic disturbance,” their report added.
It offered no other details, and the current state of the victim’s health was not mentioned.
Urquhart faces charges of one count of aggravated assault, one count of possession of instrument of crime, two counts of simple assault, one count of recklessly endanger another person, and one count of harassment. The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Justice John Hipple.
Police urged Urquhart to surrender herself to the department, or any other law enforcement agency “to address these charges.” They also sought public help in locating her.
