East Greenville Warehouse Unaffected by New Facility
EAST GREENVILLE PA – An Arrowhead Engineered Products Inc. warehouse at 668 Gravel Pike apparently will not be affected by a corporate decision to open a self-described “mega warehouse” in Portland TN, near Nashville.
The company, in a statement Monday (Jan. 16, 2023), said the East Greenville facility would remain as one of 22 locations in its North American fulfillment and distribution center network. The newly constructed 540,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Tennessee is scheduled to open during July.
Arrowhead, headquartered in Minnesota, distributes aftermarket replacement parts primarily for “outdoor power equipment, powersports, golf cars, specialty vehicles, (and) agriculture.” Locally, Arrowhead also owns All Balls Racing Products, which it bought during August 2012 when the company was formerly located in New Berlinville. It now operates from the East Greenville location as well.
Following Arrowhead’s announcement, stories from television and newspaper outlets serving Jasper IN focused on the fact that an Arrowhead affiliate since 2016, Stens Corporation, would close its warehouse there to be joined with the Tennessee facility.
Stens employs about 150 people in Jasper, about half of them in the warehouse. “Warehouse employees have been offered relocation to Tennessee,” Evansville IN station WEVV-TV reported, and “remaining staff will have the ability to stay in Jasper and work fully remote.”
