Storm Ida Repairs Continuing on PA Route 113
PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP PA – Route 113 across portions of Perkiomen and Skippack townships, between Route 29 and Creek Road (at top), continue to be the site of road construction scheduled for Monday through Friday (Jan. 30 to Feb. 3, 2023) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT said workers will repair embankments and install guide rails that were damaged during September 2021 by Tropical Storm Ida.
Drivers can expect to encounter a single-lane closure with flaggers to monitor and control traffic, PennDOT noted. They also should allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns may occur, it said. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
The work on Route 113 is part of a project that also involves roads in Northampton Township, Bucks County; and West Brandywine, Valley, Pocopson and Birmingham townships, Chester County.
