Friday Accident in Perkiomen Occurred Near Station
PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP PA – Some emergency responders didn’t need to travel far to rescue persons involved in a two-vehicle accident (at top and below) that occurred Friday (Feb. 3, 2023) at 3:34 p.m. near the intersection of Trappe Road and Gravel Pike in Perkiomen Township. By coincidence, the incident location was only feet away from the township fire company’s Gravel Pike station.
Personnel from Harleysville Area Emergency Medical Services attended to at least one victim at the scene, who was extricated from a vehicle. A stretcher stood ready nearby.

Pennsylvania State Police investigated the accident, and fire police temporarily closed a portion of Gravel Pike between Trappe Road and Stephanie Lane as first responders worked. Members of the Collegeville Fire Company also responded.
Crews were in service at the scene for what was estimated to be about 50 minutes. A state police report on the incident had not been publicly released as of Saturday (Feb. 4) morning.
