Kindergarten Registration Now Open for Pottsgrove
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Monday (Feb. 6, 2023) marked the opening of kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 academic year in the Pottsgrove School District, it announced, with the opening of its online registration portal. Students must be 5 years of age before Sept. 1, 2023, to be registered for kindergarten.
Parents or guardians of eligible children are encouraged to explore the information available there, and begin the registration process. It’s also where district-required documents can be uploaded to complete and verify each student’s registration. Needed are copies of these documents:
- A proof of residency, such as a deed, lease, or current monthly mortgage statement, and two current utility bills from different vendors;
- An up-to-date immunization record for the child;
- An original birth certificate of the child; and
- A photo identification for the parent completing the registration.
Having upload problems? Documents also can be e-mailed directly to studentregistration@pgsd.org; ensure the student’s name appears in the e-mail subject line. Documents also can be sent to the district by fax at 610-327-2530.
Student registrations may be delayed if required documents are not submitted, the district warned.
