School Board Approves Salaries for Spring Coaches
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Even if this year’s unusually warm winter hadn’t tipped its hand well in advance, with daytime temperatures occasionally reaching into the 50s and 60s, you could guess Tuesday (Feb. 14, 2023) that spring is close at hand.
That’s because the Pottsgrove Board of School Directors approved an annually expected roster of athletic supplemental staff appointments for spring sports during its Tuesday night meeting at Pottsgrove High School. Board member Patti Grimm abstained from voting.
The district list (below) identifies 29 coaching positions and the individuals who will hold them by name, accompanied by the salaries they are scheduled to be paid for their efforts. The total salary cost is slightly more than $130,000, according to the board agenda, with the highest salary at $6,480, the lowest at $3,105, and the average at $4,496.
