
Ida Damage Repair Crews Working Locally Next Week
KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Repairs to lingering highway damage caused 18 months ago by Tropical Storm Ida will be made next week in North Coventry, Warwick, and New Hanover townships, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s District 6 office in King of Prussia.
Drivers in the work zones will encounter lane closures, it said. Scheduled for fixes are:
- Across North Coventry and Warwick townships, Chester County, St. Peters Road between Harmonyville Road and Wells Road, Monday through Wednesday (March 6-8, 2023) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and
- In New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, Route 73 between Middle Creek Road and North Charlotte Street, Thursday (March 9) from 9 a.m. to noon.
PennDOT cautioned drivers to allow extra time when traveling through the areas. Slowdowns may occur, it said. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
