Limerick Volunteers Respond to Tree, Mulch Fire

LIMERICK PA – Limerick Township firefighters were called Thursday (March 16, 2023) to extinguish a small landscape blaze.

The fire department responded at 2:11 p.m. to a tree and mulch fire outside the offices of Branch Medical Group, 475 N. Lewis Rd. It sent its Field 51-1, Field 51-2, Command 51, Chief 51, and Fire Police 51 vehicles to the scene, according to the department website.

“Crews arrived and quickly extinguished the fire on a tree and in the mulch,” it reported. All vehicles and their crew returned to the station “a short time later,” it added. The cause of the fire was not mentioned.
