Route 29 Lane Closure Planned in Part of Perkiomen

PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP PA – Utility improvements on Route 29 in Perkiomen Township are scheduled for March 27-31 (Monday through Friday) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on Route 29 between High School Drive and Maple Avenue, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Drivers should expect a lane closure each day during the period. The work will be done by the township Public Works Department under a PennDOT highway occupancy permit, the agency said.

Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through the work area; backups and delays will occur, PennDOT warned. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
