Troopers Arrest Alleged Beverage Shoplifter in Hereford
HEREFORD PA – Pennsylvania State Police apparently caught up Wednesday (March 15, 2023) with a 20-year-old Lambertville NJ man, whom they charged with retail theft in Berks County.
Troopers from the Troop L Barracks in Reading said they responded shortly after 7:30 p.m. to a theft complaint at a convenience store on Chestnut Street in Hereford Township. Store personnel claimed the man “took one alcoholic beverage” from the location, and then “fled in an unknown direction” by driving off in a 1998 BMW-model Z3.
Investigators did not indicate how, when, or where they located the man they later identified as the alleged shoplifter, but on Friday (March 17) reported him as having been arrested.
