The school was the winner among six Montgomery County competitors in a contest to see whose students showed greatest improvement in wearing seat belts during the just-ended academic year.

Clothing articles that could be used for those needing uniforms in September to attend Pottstown Schools are being collected now by local Girl Scouts for distribution by the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities.
The Pottstown School District employs more than 30 Pottstown High School graduates, all of whom have come back to the district over time to help instruct or assist future generations, its community relations director said.

The latest list of honor society inductees at Montgomery County Community College includes students from Pottstown, Stowe, Boyertown, Gilbertsville, Bally, Douglassville, East Greenville, Green Lane, Pennsburg and Red Hill.
For some high school students, as well as those in college undergraduate and graduate programs, it's one way to launch your interest in political science.
Eight-grader Angel Onate digested word after word in the Pottstown Middle School spelling bee, and went on to a respectable finish in Norristown too.
