Increasing nutrition knowledge and family communication skills is the goal of the program to be held at Pottstown Middle School.
The Easter Bunny will be available today (Saturday, March 24) to have its photo taken with your dog from 1-4 p.m. at Coventry Animal Hospital, 1620 New Schuylkill Rd., East Coventry PA. The $10 fee benefits the Bark For Life campaign of the American Cancer Society. Call 484-366-173 for information.

Although attempts to keep kids from using tobacco continue throughout the year, kids will focus on helping their peers drop or avoid the habit on Wednesday, designated as national Kick Butts Day. Locally, events are planned at the Pottstown YMCA and Owen J. Roberts Middle School.
The presentation and discussion is free and open to the public, and will be led by specialists from Philadelphia.
