Update: New Hanover police reported Wednesday (April 19, 2023) at 7:30 a.m. that Gilbertsville resident David Gable Sr. “was located and is safe.” No other details were immediately available. Troopers and New Hanover Police Search Missing Man
NEW HANOVER PA – State and township police are asking for public help in attempting to locate a local man who they said “may be at special risk of harm or injury, and may be confused.”
David Gable Sr., 79, was last seen Tuesday (April 18, 2023) at 2:30 p.m., driving a black 2013-model Nissan Frontier pickup truck with Pennsylvania license plate YJT4265 on New Hanover Square Road in Gilbertsville. He had not yet been located as of Wednesday (April 19) at 5:30 a.m., according to the New Hanover Police Department’s Facebook page.
Troopers issued a “missing endangered person advisory” for Gable. “If you have any information about his whereabouts, please call us at 610-327-1150,” the police department urged, or call 9-1-1 and ask for the state police.
Gable stands 5’6″, weighs about 155 pounds, has brown eyes, and salt-and-pepper hair. He was last seen wearing brown pants, a gray flannel shirt, suspenders, and a baseball hat.
