POTTSTOWN PA – Two new providers, one each in optometry and dentistry, have joined the staff of Community Health & Dental Care at its Shoppes at Coventry offices, 351 W. Schuylkill Rd., the practice announced Friday (April 28, 2023).
Dr. Min Chen (at top left) is an experienced, bilingual vision provider who earned her doctor of optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, and bachelor of science degree in biology from Temple University. As a bilingual optometrist licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Chen has ability to conduct examinations in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Fujianese).
Dr. Logan Monighan (right) is the center’s newest general dental provider, She earned her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, and her bachelor of arts degree from Temple University. Monighan is licensed in Pennsylvania.

Opened in 2008, Community Health & Dental Care receives government funding through the national Health Resources and Services Administration as a designated federally qualified health center. It said it offers “appropriate levels of care for all people in its service area, regardless of their ability to pay.”
It provides medical, dental, OBGYN, vision, podiatry, physical therapy, medication-assisted treatment, integrated behavioral health, and care and case management services, and free transportation to and from its health center offices in Pottstown and Barto.
