POTTSTOWN PA – Reservations are being accepted now for the ninth annual golf outing scheduled by the Lower Pottsgrove Police Officers Association for June 5 (2023; Monday) from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.at Brookside Country Club, 850 N. Adams St.
The association, formed in 2013, was formed for the purpose of “giving back to the community.” Its fund-raising efforts support other local organizations and charities.
The day is planned to start at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch, followed by a shotgun start four-man scramble at 12:30. Prizes include those for first, second, and third-place finishes, hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest to pin placements. Beverages – beer, wine, and cocktails – will be available from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; and dinner in the Brookside ballroom is from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The individual golfer fee is $140, and for those interested in dinner only, $55. Gold, silver, bronze, and hole sponsorships also are available.
