Six young students taught plenty of guests how they can make healthy changes in their eating habits, and make meals more palatable as well, during the 16th annual Wellness Fair held Saturday at Boyertown Area High School.
One of Boyertown’s most enduring health-related events, the annual wellness fair conducted by the Wellness Council of Boyertown as part of Boyertown Area Multi-Service, is now scheduled for March 18.
Jocelyn Charles, appointed as executive director of Boyertown Area Multi-Service Inc., will lead it "with a steady, purposeful hand" and collaborate with the Boyertown and Pottstown communities, its president said.
An Ambler Savings Bank matching grant has helped Boyertown Area Multi-Service raise more than $14,000 for the agency's homelessness task force to rapidly respond to those needing assistance.
Preston's Pantry Project, operated by non-profit Boyertown Area Multi-Service, received a more than 270-pound donation of foods from the orthopedics, spine, and 5th floor staffs at Pottstown Hospital.
The annual Thanksgiving Meal Drive conducted by Boyertown Multi-Service launches today, and continues through Nov. 18. It hopes to provide meals for dozens of families.
