Plastic shopping and grocery bags, which many people put into a recycling bin and a few (horrors!) toss into the trash, are needed by Pottstown's community gardeners on Chestnut Street.

Informational meetings about the new community garden being established in Pottstown by the MOSAIC Community Land Trust are scheduled for Feb. 21 and Feb. 25.
The Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant to two local organizations to build a community garden on Chestnut Street in the borough.
