Members of the Lower Frederick Parks and Recreation Board admitted to being a little nervous. Would visitors come out Saturday for an event last held three years ago?, they worried. Short answer: yes, in droves.
On-again, off-again rain Saturday at Sanatoga Park finally stopped, and that gave families assembled for the Lower Pottsgrove Easter egg hunt plenty of time to enjoy the Parks And Recreation Board event.
Easter egg hunts are planned for April 9 by Lower Pottsgrove Township, the Upper Pottsgrove Fire Company, and Boyertown-based Glocker Realty and Insurance. Got your baskets handy?
The activities are open to all Pottstown and Pottsgrove stay-at-home mothers and their children.
