Athletes from Hereford, Birdsboro, Barto, and Collegeville joined in the Saturday season-opener of Kutztown University football against Assumption University in Massachusetts. Assumption won 3-0 on a field goal.
Three well-known Pottstown area athletes will take to the field this year representing the Kutztown University women's soccer team, following its highly successful 2021 program-record season.
Two may be better than one: an agreement allows a bachelor's degree student at Kutztown University to reverse credits and also earn an associate's degree at MCCC.
The band performed well as a group, its director said, and some of its individual players won honors too.
