A Pottstown man was identified in an investigation that followed the early Friday morning incident. Now charges have been filed against him by Lower Pottsgrove police.
Area detectives are pursing leads and looking for suspects in an incident that may be related to others that have occurred in recent weeks across several counties.
He was arrested following an incident that occurred April 29, but charges were filed Monday by Lower Pottsgrove police after they received results of a blood test.
SANATOGA PA – A Pottstown man and a female riding in his vehicle were arrested last Tuesday (May 12, 2015) after the dark-colored sedan he was driving swerved along the sides of westbound U.S. Route 422 near the Sanatoga interchange, then plunged down an embankment near mile marker 175,
One youth was injured, another arrested as fights reportedly broke out after a Friday night dance at the 422 SportsPlex in Lower Pottsgrove. Pottstown was among 11 police departments responding.
Lower Pottsgrove police allege he was driving under the influence when a two-car accident occurred on East High Street. He then tried to resist arrest, they added.
A Pottstown man tried to slip out of view Friday as a Lower Pottsgrove police officer glanced in his direction. Turns out he was wanted, and arrested for, charges in the borough.
The incident occurred Wednesday, Lower Pottsgrove police reported.
