Drivers on U.S. Route 422 in West Pottsgrove and Stowe face long-term ramp closures there that begin next week and continue through Fall 2019, PennDOT said Thursday.
Leaves will be falling, and so will some lumber, Nov. 30 in Green lane as PennDOT conducts tree removal operations on Route 29. Expect lane restrictions, and the presence of flaggers.
A portion of eastbound U.S. Route 422 will close across North Coventry, West Pottsgrove, and Douglass townships during overnights next week. That's in addition to west lane restrictions in Lower Pottsgrove.
PECO work crews will install a gas main along Route 29 in Perkiomen Township during late November. Drivers can expect to endure lane closures during the period.
PennDOT has lane closures scheduled for only an hour on Halloween (Oct. 31) for between 9 and 10 a.m. on U.S. Route 422 to accommodate bridge construction.
Expect single lane restrictions to appear next Monday through Friday (Oct. 30-Nov. 3) on Route 29 and Meyers Road in Perkiomen Township. PennDOT contractors will be busy again.
PennDOT plans to open bids in 2018 to replace the Old Forty Foot Road bridge over Skippack Creek in Towamencin Township. It'll hold a meeting Thursday to show and discuss bridge plans with the public.
