A group of about 20 Pottsgrove schools representatives - most of them students but several administrators too - arrived Saturday at Lower Pottsgrove’s Sanatoga Park, ready to work on maintenance tasks.
Pottsgrove School District representatives on Wednesday carried home annual sportsmanship awards presented to its high and middle schools by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Pottsgrove Middle School was evacuated Friday afternoon after district officials received a bomb threat. Its students were transported by buses to the high school, and remained there the rest of the day. An investigation is under way.
The more than 50 Pottsgrove Middle School students who are members of its percussion and flute ensembles, and jazz and concert bands, returned to live stage performances Tuesday for the first time in three years.
The parking lot at Pottsgrove Middle School on North Hanover Street is expected to be busy Saturday, as area residents take advantage of an inexpensive way to recycle electronics and also benefit the GreenAllies organization.
