Personnel actions approved Tuesday by the Pottsgrove Board of School Directors dealt primarily with routine appointments, resignations, retirements, and assistance for student teacher placements.
A marketing piece and other efforts to recruit candidates interested in becoming the Pottsgrove School District's next superintendent are being handled by the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, the district said Thursday.
Pottsgrove schools' officials expected, at some point, to deal with coronavirus-positive exposures at one or more buildings. One was announced Tuesday, simply to keep parents informed, at the high school.

A significant number of teachers and staff members during the weekend notified the Pottsgrove School District that they would be unavailable to work Monday. That prompted the district to postpone the launch of its hybrid education plans.
Pottsgrove schools families who want to have their children's educational model changed from hybrid to virtual education must make that preference known by no later than Friday (today, Dec. 4).
Three West Chester University students have been assigned teacher placements with veteran Pottsgrove School District teachers to gain valuable, hands-on classroom experience fur their future careers.
