An hours-long event filled with activities intended to keep children healthy while they had fun attracted people from across the area Saturday to Pottstown High School.
Pottstown Early Action for Kindergarten Readiness has scheduled "relaxed" conversation times with parents who want help in planning a meaningful summer for their families.
Pottstown area families can have lots of fun, and learn too, during the school district PEAK program's ninth annual "Celebrate Young Children" event. It is scheduled for April 18.
Pottstown Early Action for Kindergarten Readiness and Pottstown schools are asking for input.
Pottstown's kindergarten readiness program, now in its fifth year, is ensuring that children get off to a good start in their earliest experience of formal education.
May is the "Month of the Young Child," and there were children galore Sunday to prove it, all attending a community event sponsored by Pottstown Early Action for Kindergarten Readiness.
