A $467,636 grant from Pennsylvania's Industrial Sites Reuse Program will help cover the cost of environmental clean-up at the former Pottstown Plating Works property on South Washington Street.
More than $48,000 in back taxes, owed to Montgomery County on the former Pottstown Plating Works property on South Washington Street, were exonerated Thursday by county commissioners. The parcel is being redeveloped.
