It's been 22 years since the greater Pottstown area Relay For Life initially stepped out to raise funds for the fight against cancer. The big event returns Saturday to the stadium at Pottsgrove High School.
Pottsgrove school board members offered a resounding "yes!" vote Tuesday, allowing the Pottstown Relay for Life to step off June 1, 2019, in the high school stadium.
The 11th annual Bark For Life fund-raiser Saturday in Pottstown brought together pets and people despite the day's rain and chill, and helped collect $16,000 in the battle against cancer.
