Mike Lavanga, once chief of staff for Pottstown's former state Rep. Mark Painter, has been named to a position at the Delaware County Democratic Committee.
Victims of abuse or domestic violence could in some circumstances break free from a property lease if they were threatened in their home, under a amendment from state Rep. Mark Painter.
The state representative serving Pottstown and surrounding municipalities is encouraging property owners to apply for what could be a valuable incentive for reuse.
