COVID-19 wrecked havoc during the past two years on many events, including the much anticipated return of Schwenksville Borough's Community Day. That wait ends Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Meadow Park.
After seemingly endless months without public entertainment as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Schwenksville Borough Activities Committee has already set summer concert and Community Day dates for this year.
There's plenty of improvement work to be done at Meadow Park, so the borough of Schwenksville is postponing Community Day. Volunteer help is needed with other activities, though.
The annual Schwenksville Community Day, returning today (Saturday, May 6) to Meadow Park, will feature five musical acts, three additional shows, a public artist, a petting zoo, and plenty of fun, games, and foods. It's in its ninth year as one of the borough's most popular events.
