A new social media contest being launched today (Monday, Aug. 1) by Tower Health encourages participants to eat five servings of fruits and veggies daily for five days.
Reading Hospital, a unit of the Tower Health non-profit that also operates Pottstown and Phoenixville hospitals, has been named a Level I trauma center.

The Pottstown and Phoenixville school districts, and others, are ready to battle Reading PA-based Tower Health in court over its attempts to claim non-profit property tax exemptions for hospitals it bought in those boroughs, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer report Thursday.
Tower Health, new owner of Pottstown and Phoenixville hospitals, is at odds with insurer Independence Blue Cross in a dispute that arose as Tower celebrated the re-launch of its acquired properties.
