A second annual conference that focuses specifically on issues facing local non-profit organizations is scheduled for June 13 in Pottstown. Reservations are being accepted now.
The TriCounty Community Network and Montgomery County Community College are co-sponsoring an event designed to help area residents find new or additional jobs. It's planned for June 6.
The event to benefit job-seekers by honing their employability skills will be held May 2 at the MCCC University Center on South Hanover Street.
The event, scheduled by the TriCounty Community Network, hopes to help women develop "leadership skills that inspire action."
The new year's first meeting of the TriCounty Community Network is scheduled for Jan. 19 in Pottstown.
Planning is already under way for the Healthy Lifestyles Expo that state Rep. Tom Quigley and other co-sponsors will bring back in May to Pottstown. Once again, admission will be free.
Its regular monthly meeting and "winter celebration" will be rescheduled later.
