Red Tape Stalls Repairs At Boulevard Exit Of 422

Paperwork and reviews in the purchase of nearby pieces of land by PennDOT from Occidental Chemical Corp. have postponed bidding for proposed repairs to the Armand Hammer Boulevard interchange of U.S. Route 422 in Pottstown.

A motorcyclist said to be traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles an hour crashed Sunday into a guard rail on U.S. Route 422 near Sanatoga. That was followed by a second crash of three vehicles trying to avoid the first incident.
