Upper Pottsgrove police are investigating a Sunday morning one-vehicle accident near Maugers Mill and Yarnall roads. An SUV left the highway and slid down an embankment toward Sprogel’s Run. Its driver appeared to have fled.
A three-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Route 100 North near West Moyer Road in Upper Pottsgrove may have been affected by a driver whom police said seemed to have incurred a medical problem.

A truck crashed Tuesday at 11:21 a.m. into a utility pole on the west side of the 2100 block of North Charlotte Street, disrupting electrical power for a time and blocking the highway for a lengthy period.
Pottsgrove Middle School was evacuated Friday afternoon after district officials received a bomb threat. Its students were transported by buses to the high school, and remained there the rest of the day. An investigation is under way.
Lower and Upper Pottsgrove police, as well as fire company volunteers from both townships, responded Monday night to a two-truck collision at North Charlotte Street and Keim Road. Occupants incurred minor injuries, officers said.
One person was injured but declined treatment Tuesday after a two-vehicle accident that occurred at about 11:10 a.m. at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and North State Street in Upper Pottsgrove.
With work ahead, the Upper Pottsgrove Police Department reminded township residents that Kummerer Road is scheduled to be closed Monday and remain closed for the rest of the year.
