Forty-nine students were on Bus 10 as it was headed Monday to Pottsgrove Middle School and was rear-ended by a vehicle. No one was injured in the incident. The same bus later took the students to school.
A 25-year-old Pottstown man, who Upper Pottsgrove police allege attempted to burglarize a Sageview Drive home, is in jail awaiting a Sept. 6 preliminary hearing.
The Facebook page called Crime In Pottstown posted video Saturday that purports to show individuals entering an unlocked car in the early morning. Upper Pottsgrove police are said to be investigating.
A township police officer on patrol encountered a group of youngsters late Wednesday night, and their reaction to his presence both surprised and concerned him.
The driver and sole occupant was taken to the hospital for care of unspecified injuries.
