Lighting and video cameras intended to add more security to the south end of Gerald Richards Park in Lower Pottsgrove are being installed this week, and should be operational before the new year.
Lower Pottsgrove township commissioners and its police department are acting on residents stated concerns about public safety in the wake of shots fired in an area south of Gerald Richards Park and along Pebble Beach Lane.
Dozens of firefighters responded Monday around 4 a.m. to a fire among the 700-block units at Walnut Ridge Estates off Kepler Road in Sanatoga. One unit was heavily damaged. No one appeared to be injured.
